To be considered, applicants must be based or willing to relocate to NY. Candidates must also be legally authorized to work in the US or possess independent work authorization.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead/support planning and implementation of activities and curriculum tailored towards children’s developmental growth
  • Engage with children in age-appropriate ways using enriching, positive language, loving care, and interactive play
  • Ensure children’s health and safety at all times through close supervision and adherence to a robust set of daily protocols
  • Proactively communicate with parents regarding their children’s development and growth

Qualifications:

Infant/Toddler Teacher Qualifications: (6 weeks to 2 years old)

  • An Associate’s Degree and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a similar field with New York State Early Childhood Initial or Permanent Certification
  • At least two years working with young children
  • Ability to support creation of high quality educational content
  • Ability to create trusting relationships with children, families and other colleagues
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain

Preschool Teacher Qualifications: (2 years old to 5 years old)

  • A Master's Degree in early childhood or child development with New York State Initial or Permanent Early Childhood Certification in N-6 or B-2 or
  • A Bachelor's Degree in early childhood education or related field with New York State Early Childhood Initial or Permanent Certification or in a work study program or
  • A college degree in an appropriate human service area or education field (i.e.: psychology, special education, social work) including some courses in child development with willingness to obtain initial Early Childhood Certification
  • At least two years working with young children
  • Ability to support creation of high quality educational content
  • Ability to create trusting relationships with children, families and other colleagues
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
