Description:

Responsibilities:

Under the general supervision of the Director, the preschool teacher is responsible for all aspects of caring and teaching a group of young children including the development of curriculum, daily lesson plans, teaching and record keeping.

Qualifications:

Must meet NYS requirements for Preschool Teacher:  Associates degree in Early Childhood Education; or current Preschool CDA certification w childcare experience; or 9 college credits in Early Childhood or a related field with a plan of study leading to AAS degree or CDA and childcare experience.  Must also meet all other NYS OCFS requirements and state required training.

Previous classroom experience preferred.

CPR certification preferred.

Minimum Education Level: CDA Credential
Preferred Education Level: CDA Credential (with credit-bearing certificate)
