Early Childhood Program currently seeking passionate educators for our Infant/Toddler Classroom.

Typical Duties Group teacher is expected to formulate and implement curricula to meet the basic and educational needs of infants and toddlers. You will also be required to supervise teaching staff, track and report on students' progress, and ensure that classes remain safe and conducive to learning.

Other day to day duties candidates for Group Teacher position will be expected to:
- Interact respectfully with children, families and fellow staff members;
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures while supervising children at all times; - Train, supervise, and mentor Assistant teachers to ensure that they perform well;
- Provide and maintain required reports and anecdotes;
- Work with families who are children's first teachers; providing 2- way communication on children's strengths, interests, and needs to build home school connection and;
-Collaborate with coworkers to ensure the classroom meet best practices.

Group Teacher Required Qualifications to be considered:
• Must be at least 21 years old
• At least 1 year of experience working with young children
• **Bilingual English/Spanish- speakers strongly encouraged to apply
• Associate's (AA or AS) degree in early childhood education; or
• (2) Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and a study plan leading to an associate's degree in early childhood education within seven years; or
• (3) High school diploma or equivalent (GED); nine college credits in early childhood education or child development; two years’ experience caring for children, and a study plan leading to an associate's degree in early childhood education within seven years; or
• (4) High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and five years of supervised experience in an infant/toddler classroom if currently employed in a permitted child care program; or
• (5) High school diploma or equivalent (GED); and a study plan that is acceptable to the Department leading to nine credits in early childhood education or childhood development within two years; and a study plan leading to an associate's degree in early childhood education within seven years, if currently employed in a permitted child care program.
