$500 Sign on Taxable Bonus for Full-Time employees and $250 Taxable Bonus for Part-Time employees. Paid after 3 months completion of successful employment.

Position: Assistant Teacher (Early Childhood)

Imagine Early Learning Centers seeks a Full-Time Assistant Teacher for children ages 2 months-5 years at our Holtsville center. Our center is a safe, nurturing, fun and friendly environment.

We are seeking an experienced, energetic and creative professional to join a team providing the highest quality, educational childcare for working families.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum
  • Ensure compliance with licensing and NAEYC guidelines
  • Effective communication with families, staff and board
  • Effective written communication skills
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of position which include lifting children, pushing strollers/buggies, sitting on the floor and year-round daily outdoor activities

Qualifications:

  • CDA or Associates Degree in Early Childhood preferred, Elementary, Special Education, or in progress, required
  • Previous experience teaching children in an Early Childhood program preferred
  • Previous experience with NAEYC standards and the accreditation process a plus
Minimum Education Level: Highschool Graduate or GED
Preferred Education Level: Associate's Degree
