The position requires the candidate to have the ability to:
Write lesson plans
Manage classroom behavior
Plan and implement changes to the curriculum
Effectively communicate with students, co-workers, and families
Responsibilities include:
Cares for and supervises the students
Weekly planning of lessons and implementation of specific strategies to meet the needs of all students.
Use assessment data to refine curriculum and inform instructional practices.
Design and implement assessments that measure progress toward academic standards and diagnose areas of student misunderstanding.
A teacher license or certificate is valid for services in Early Childhood grades.
Teaching license or certificate for students with disabilities (Birth - grade 2).
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field and a written study plan approved by an accredited college or university for obtaining an Early Childhood Education certification.
