Book Group: The Good Neighbor The Life and work of Fred Rogers by Maxwell King

Please join the WNY Leadership Initiative for this members only Book Group event. Book Groups are a time for individuals to discuss a book and how it relates to our work as ECE leaders. This is a 2 part event for the book "The Good Neighbor The Life and Work of Fed Rogers" by Maxwell King.  Fred Rogers developed a unique model of leadership grounded in empathy, patience, consistency,  and deep respect for children. He led through relationships, service and moral clarity, qualities that are essential in early childhood leadership. As Early Childhood leaders you work daily with educators, families and young children. Lets take a look at his work and reflect upon your leadership daily practices.
