Participants will send questions in advance of the meeting or come to the meetings with questions, strategies and resources to share, or an interest in listening and learning from others' experiences. This is a space to share stories, strategies, feelings, ideas, resources, and words of encouragement about leading an early childhood program in the Southern Tier region.

Join the Long Island Leadership Initiative for monthly community gatherings in partnership with our regional partners from the Long Island Regional Technical Assistance Center for Pre-K and Early Childhood Education and Robin Beller from OCFS. Each month we come together to reflect on our practices, share stories and develop strategies for leading in early chidhood programs. Bring your dinner and bring another provider!

This is a space to share stories, strategies, feelings, ideas, resources, and words of encouragement about leading an early childhood program in the Mid-Hudson Valley.

At times it can feel like society labels people with introverted personalities as quiet, shy, reserved, or timid, while at the same time leaders are described as dominant, talkative, and outgoing. But what if I told you that your introversion is your superpower? If you‘re ready to start the journey to becoming a fearless leader, join our book group.

Leader Cafes use multi-modal media to facilitate discussion around leadership. Participants will be given links to articles, podcasts, or other media before the discussion date. During the discussion, participants are encouraged to share what resonated with them and relate that to the ongoing work of early education.  

Join our networking meetings to connect with other early childhood leaders in NYC. This is a communal space where leaders share reflections, ask important questions, and talk about their experiences. All are welcome and meetings are held on Zoom.

This is a virtual, three-part series taking place on May 21, May 28, and June 24. Each participant will receive a copy of the StrengthsFinder book, which includes access to the assessment.
